Hello I’m Quentin Schmerber. I designs typefaces, letterings, and printed matters. Currently based in London, I maintain an active freelance practice in these fields. Since 2016, I have been collaborating closely with Production Type, working on the retail catalog and custom projects for clients such as Google or LVMH. Through Production Type I have released Cardinal (designed with Yoann Minet & Jean-Baptiste Levée). By the past, I have also collaborated on projects with type foundries including FeedType, CSTM Fonts & A is for Apple among others. In 2018, as part of Future Fonts’ opening roster, I have launched my own imprint JazzMaType, currently offering two typefaces: Framboisier (designed with Dorine Sauzet) and Leonardo Fascia. I graduated in graphic design from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg (Bachelor) and the École Supérieure d'Art et Design in Amiens (MA). There, I also attended the EsadType program. My graduation typeface Temeraire, has been awarded by TypeTogether’s Publishing Incentive Program in 2016 and is now available for licensing. In my spare time, I work on self-initiated projects, write about design and typography, try to practice sign painting, watche B-movies or read graphic novels. I am available for graphic & type design projects, including bespoke design, development and production of fonts. If you have time, a budget and want to collaborate or see more of my work, please feel free to contact me by e-mail at email@example.com You can also follow me on Instagram and Twitter.
